Founded in 1894 as a constituent society of the General Society of Colonial Wars, the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of New Hampshire is dedicated to honoring the memory and service of those colonial civil and military leaders whose courage, sacrifice, and statesmanship laid the foundations of America.
As a hereditary society, we unite descendants of those who served in the great struggles that shaped early America—from the first settlements along the Piscataqua, through the long frontier wars, to the eve of the Revolution. We recognize that the liberties inherited by later generations were forged in the colonial era through courage, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion to duty.
New Hampshire holds a distinguished place in that story.
We are just starting to build this site to provide a platform for our distinguished members to document the colonial journeys of those who fought for our nation’s liberties. Please visit back soon. In meantime have a question – feel free to contact us via the form below.
